Yet another quiet year for the band, doing a 9 date Australian tour, followed by a first attempt to record "Towards The Low Sun" album.
Outside of the band Warren spends time with Grinderman touring Europe and North America for 2 months. Mick tours solo in Australia. Jim spends more idle time in Brooklyn.

Warren Ellis continues his collaboration with Nick Cave as member of The Bad Seeds and (co-)composer of film soundtracks.

Mick Turner continues to perform live, solo or backed by Ian Wadley (bass), Jeffrey Wegener (drums), or Mike Noga (drums) or Kishore Ryan (drums), as well as exhibiting his painting and sculptures.

In 2013 Jim White teamed up with Cretan lute player Yiorgos 'George' Xylouris. Together they perform as Xylouris White.
