Content: An ode to the late rock musician Rowland S. Howard. Writing by Lyndal Walker and 65 miniature gothic portrait paintings of Howard by Tony Clark.

Format: A4 size -hardback. 49 pages.

Note: Lyndal Walker is a Australian visual artist and writer. Tony Clark is a painter who in 1976/77 was teaching art history at Prahran College, Melbourne. His students included Rowland S. Howard and Anita Lane. In 1998 Nick Cave commissioned Clark to paint a landscape for the cover of "The Best of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds" album, and in 2001 for the cover sleeve of the "No More Shall We Part" album.

Content: A series of 45 detailed and up close photos of Rowland's guitar, amplifier and pedals as it was left by him after his final live show on October 29th, 2009. The guitar was deliberately not cleaned in any way.

Format: Hardback. 44 pages.

Note: Rowland bought his Fender Jaguar guitar (made in California in 1969) in Melbourne in 1979 (when he was in the Boys Next Door). The Fender Twin amplifier was bought in 1980 when he arrived in London (with the Birthday Party) and the guitar case in 1986 (when he was in Crime and the City Solution). The MXR Blue Box and Distortion and effect pedals are reissues that he used at his final live shows (in 2009). The guitar (the only one Rowland ever played) is currently on display at The Australian Music Vault, Arts Centre Melbourne. Book edited by (brother) Harry Howard and designed by Yanni Florence.
